Siding Repair Job – Water Damage Localization

We received a call from our customer about a siding repair job. When we arrived we noticed some previous siding work had been done, and what appeared to be some more dry rotten siding.

Searles Construction Siding RepairThe rest of the siding needed to be replaced because it was thought to be the cause of water damage to the owners ceiling in the house. We took our measurements, and bid the job out.

We removed all of the old siding that needed to be replaced, and looked for possible leak locations from behind the siding. What we found what that the water was running from inside the window trimming, back behind the siding, and down the insulation. Causing water to be soaked in to the ceiling and wall sheet rock.

The window company arrived soon after to inspect the issue.

After doing everything we could to prevent further leaking, we put the new siding back up and secured it.

The customer seemed very happy with our work. She was also happy that we were able to locate, and prevent any further leaking.

How often should i mow my lawn?

This is one of the most common question we hear when it comes to our lawn care services. Most people understand that dependent on good weather, you should water your lawn every day, and should probably fertilize no less then every 6 months. But the one thing people always wonder is how often a lawn care group should come now their lawn. Most company’s like to come every two weeks. In most cases this us acceptable. But if you really care about how your lawn looks you should be mowing every seven to ten days depending on the season.

One thing to keep in mind, is you should aim to cut a half inch to no longer then one inch off your lawn with each mow. This allows your lawn care group to “mulch” your lawn, putting the used nutrients back into the soil.

So how often should i mow my lawn. The standard business practice is every fourteen days, but ideally you should be trimming every seven to ten days max.
